The story is a nice story talks about Someone who's been stealing from the three meanest farmers around, and they know the identity of the thief, it's Fantastic Mr Fox!
If they Working alone they could never catch him; but now fat Boggis, squat Bunce, and skinny Bean have joined forces, and they have Mr. Fox and his family surrounded.
But what they don't know is that they're not dealing with just any fox-Mr. Fox would rather die than surrender. The most fantastic plan can save him now...
What I think I liked most about the fantastic Mr. Fox is not just that it’s a good story, but it’s a good story that’s meant to be read aloud. Because every word is in the story is needed, you can’t just skim-read the sentences and get the same effect.
Also, every word read aloud “feels” good in the mouth! And I think like me, you’ll find reading Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr. Fox aloud is fantastic!
Also, Roald Dahl was a creative and brilliant writer and given he wrote many of his works for children, perhaps intended for them to be read aloud, by a parent or carer at bedtime, as I did for my son.
As you know We read several other of Dahl’s books, but none ever struck me as quite so poetically flowing and pleasing to the ear (and tongue) as Fantastic Mr Fox.

Thereafter his children's books brought him increasing quality, and once he died kids mourned the globe over, significantly in the UK wherever he had lived for several years.
The BFG is dedicated to the memory of Roald Dahl's eldest female offspring, Olivia, who died from measles when she was seven – the same age at which his sister had died (from appendicitis) over forty years before.
Quentin Blake, the Primary Children’s Laureate of the UK, has illustrated most of Roald Dahl’s children’s books.
